Oculus Technologies Corporation was formed in June 1999 to implement and support a commercial version of the DOME (Distributed Object Modeling Environment) technology conceived at the MIT CADLab. Since that time, Oculus has developed a suite of technologies and products that facilitate collaboration and communication.
